About:

Katarina La Poll was born and raised in the SF Bay Area of California. Her creative work has been published in A Book Of magazine, All the sins Issue 7 - small art, 3Elements Literary Review, Mercado Vicente Digital Palengke, and Bloodtree Literature, for which she won their 2020 “Chimera” hybrid poetry contest for a piece she wrote and performed titled "Echo". Her poems have been incorporated into indie short films that have screened at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Cinematografo International Film Festival, Cinequest, Hollyshorts, Miami Film Festival, and elsewhere. Katarina has received support from the Community of Writers and Columbia University’s School of the Arts where she holds a master's degree in creative writing with a concentration in poetry.
